What if I want to dispose of a car?

That’s easy to do, if the car is in your name, and if you have the title.  If the car isn’t yours or if you don’t have a signed title, the towing company usually won’t touch it.  If the driver doesn’t have the title, the salvage/junk yard won’t accept it since they don’t just salvage vehicles without proper paperwork.  The best way to dispose a car is to donate it, but you’ll still need the title.  Yes, it’s that important.
