With cold gripping the Northeast, and the midtown Manhattan skyline as a backdrop, Tuckahoe (northbound) and Endeavor (southbound) keep the oil moving on the North River. Meanwhile, traffic’s always heavy on the 14 lanes of the double-decked GWB, the world’s busiest vehicular bridge. With over 100,000,000 crossings a year, way more emphasis on short sea shipping would do a world of good on this section of the Northeast Corridor.
